“Had a great stay in one of the cabins at the Meadows at Polehangar with a group of friends. It was a lovely peaceful location, with walks out of the door through the adjoining fields and woodlands. The cabin itself was really comfortable (even the top bunk bed!) and well equipped, with plenty of space for our group. The hot tub was a real treat. Looking forward to a return visit!”

“Brilliant weekend away at this glamping site. We stayed at marigold and everything was brilliant. Cabin was well stocked, clean, and had everything needed to enjoy the experience. Hot tub was amazing and fire pit was brilliant for bbq and late night fire. Surround area is brilliant for long walks and also towns and shops and other walking trails are perfect distance. Will definitely be returning at some point in the future. Thank you Charlotte and Andrew for such a brilliant stay, you’ve created such a great glamping experience”

“We had the most wonderful two-night stay in the Aster chalet at The Meadows @ Polehanger Farm. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful, natural surroundings—nestled in a meadow, it felt like a true hidden gem. The setting is so calm, with nothing but the sounds of nature around you, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The chalet itself is beautifully decorated in a country style with modern comforts—thoughtfully designed and equipped with lots of lovely extras that made our stay feel really special. The wood-fired hot tub was an absolute highlight, and we were so impressed that it was cleaned and refreshed for us daily, ready for a relaxing soak each evening. Our children loved having so much open space to run around and play safely, while we enjoyed the tranquil surroundings. It was great to have easy parking, free Wi-Fi, and everything we needed to feel right at home. Charlotte and Andrew, the owners, were so welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We came away feeling rested, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. A truly special place that we feel lucky to have found.”

“This place is such a hidden gem. My friend and I have been here 3 years in a row and will continue to do so. Charlotte and Andrew are wonderful and the cabins are cosy, clean, and just perfect. It’s really quiet despite being quite close to the road. Really comfy bed too! Highly recommend the Meadows to anyone wanting a lovely, relaxing hot tub weekend.”

“We recently had a wonderful week-long family stay at The Meadows, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. The property is not only beautiful but also immaculately maintained, with all the essential facilities, including reliable Wi-Fi. Its close proximity to London is a huge bonus, offering a peaceful countryside retreat without the need for a long drive. Charlotte and Andrew were exceptionally welcoming and attentive hosts. Upon our arrival, everything was perfectly prepared. The property was spotless, and the hot tub was already filled. Although we declined the offer to have the hot tub ready for our first day, we appreciated the thoughtful gesture. The hosts change the hot tub water daily, ensuring a fresh and clean experience throughout our stay. The surrounding area offers plenty of scenic walks, making it a great spot for nature lovers. For convenience, there's a large Morrisons just a 5 minute drive away or a pleasant 15 minute walk. The beautiful town of Hitchin, about 10-15 minutes drive, features several highly-rated restaurants. For day trips, there are plenty of nearby attractions, including Herrings Green Activity Farm & Bird of Prey Centre, Shuttleworth Aerodrome, and Wrest Park, all within a 15 minute drive and well worth a visit. If you’re looking to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside, spend quality time with family, have a BBQ, relax in a hot tub under the wide open sky, without sacrificing modern comforts, this is the perfect place. My children loved the trip and are already asking me to book our next stay.”
